Did you know......

.......you can't sell people on trust...you have to build it.

And that's all I have to say today, so....check out this stuff..

I found this to be an excellent article "Who are you trying to impress?"

By this summer well over half of all Internet users will likely visit Facebook each month. Are you there?

"I'd like to posit that for idea workers, misusing Twitter, Facebook and various forms of digital networking are the ultimate expression of procrastination. You can be busy, very busy, forever. The more you do, the longer the queue gets. The bigger your circle, the more connections are available." Seth Godin

Here's a perfect example of wasted time in the blogosphere.

"I offer nothing more than simple facts, plain arguments, and common sense . . ." Thomas Paine

Oh my word Broker Bryant- that was some "call out".  Have to truly wonder about those NAR dues huh?  Now I'm off to work on my facebook fan page :)

Posted by Tammy Lankford/Broker Lane Realty Lake Sinclair-Central GA about 1 month ago

Well Bryant,

That was interesting!

But, not nearly as interesting as some of the "lemming speak" that followed. Why is it alright for one to express his opinion and not another?

If you believe the NAR cares, you probably also believe in the AARP, Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny.

perfect example of wasted  only to those that prefer hassle free over right.

Thank you,

Bill

Well as you know I have been "wasting time" following the post and Bill Lublins follow up one. A complete misunderstanding that could have been handled privately, but what do I know.

The whole thing has been blown up too much and too many people are wasting time on it. I agree with Missy that it could have been handled more positively.

Oh...I am on Facebook alright but the only business I am engaging in there seems to be monkey buisness ;-)

I got so distracted I forgot what the heck I was doing?!

It's true people can be real PAINS in the REAR.  Once I was in a Twitter WAR with an infamous Inman News contributor who based my company.  It actually caught the attention of some higher-up types who were none-to-please with this "person".

Love comes and goes... Tweets are forever...

AMEN about the trust! Ditton on respect! I get fed up with people who "demand" these things when they've done nothing to earn one or both of them. =)

Bryant- I love Twitter! That is my favorite place to find contacts and do business. My focus on Facebook is business, I spend about 30 minutes a week on Facebook. But we just got 3 clients from our Facebook pages.

I saw that perfect example of wasted time, and was not impressed either. TLW has a gun and you have a cup of coffee? Or do I need to put on my reading glasses?

Posted by Melissa Zavala Realtor® North San Diego County Homes (Broadpoint Properties) about 1 month ago

There's a part of me...

That wants to take the bone and make him fetch. At least that way he'd have something constructive to do :)

P.S. Begs the question: Does he even sell Real Estate. Most people like that, well, don't :)

TLW...ROAR!

While you can't sell trust...you can certainly develop a reputation for it.  There are some people who willl trust you right away...and with some people you have to earn it.
